Rishi Kapoor & Ranbir Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor (born 4 September 1952) is an Indian Bollywood actor, film producer and director.

orn in Mumbai, Kapoor is the second son of famous film director and star Raj Kapoor.

His brothers are well-known actors: Randhir Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor. He is father of actor Ranbir Kapoor. Rishi is the paternal uncle of today's actresses Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. He is of Punjabi Hindu Khatri origin.





Rishi Kapoor became engaged to Neetu Singh, with whom he had several hit movies, on 13 April 1979 and then married her in 1980. They have two children: Ranbir Kapoor, who is also an actor, and Ridhima Kapoor.




Ranbir Kapoor (Hindi: रणबीर कपूर, born 28 September 1982 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India) is anIndian actor who appears in Bollywood movies. He first appeared in the 2007 film Saawariya for which he won a Filmfare Best Male Debut Award.

Born to actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, Kapoor is the great grandson of Prithviraj Kapoorand the grandson of actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor. He is the brother of Riddhima Kapoor and his uncles are Randhir Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor. Other notable family members include his cousins Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Nikhil Nanda. As a child, Kapoor studied at Bombay Scottish School in Mahim, Mumbai, and went on to pursue method acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.[1]
